2011 will mark the reintroduction of the sheep classes into the Athenry Show. These will feature in the schedule alongside a diverse range of classes including poultry, equestrian, Connemara classes, show-jumping, dogs! and other pets, art, photography, home crafts (knitting, sewing, wood-turning, stained glass, etc.), home baking, floral arrangements, and a selection of junior classes.

The committee, this year, extends an invitation to traders dealing in artisan foods to contact them with regard to selling their produce at the show, as well as extending this same invitation to the traditional mixture of trade stands.
