Rules and Conditions.
1. Entries are confined to one-year-old Colt/Geldings registered in the I.H.R. with the breed code ISH or ID with the dam documented on the passport and must be sired by a stallion that is classified as Approved, Supplementary Approved or Preliminary approved in the Irish sport Horse studbook or a stallion that is classified as class 1/RID in the Irish Draught Horse Studbook. The class is also open to the progeny of Weatherby’s Thoroughbred Stallions that are not classified in the IHR.
2. Two yearlings from selected shows may qualify for the final, if the judges and the ISA agree the standard is high enough.
3. Exhibitors to both the qualifier and the final must have the yearling’s passport ready for inspection prior to entry to the judging ring. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to immediate disqualification
4. Animals qualified for Final are not eligible to enter any other class at the Ennis Show.
5. Those rules should be read in conjunction with the general I.S.A. rules.

Rules and Conditions
1. Entries are confined to mares who must have a foal at foot registered in the I.H.R. with the breed code ISH or ID with the dam documented on the passport and must be sired by a stallion that is classified as Approved, Supplementary Approved or Preliminary approved in the Irish sport Horse studbook or a stallion that is classified as class 1/RID in the Irish Draught Horse Studbook. The class is also open to the progeny of Weatherby’s Thoroughbred Stallions that are not classified in the IHR.
2. All mares must have a foal at foot by a recommended for breeding (Approved) stallion or preliminary recommended for breeding. Stallion or class 1 /RID Irish Draught stallion or by a stallion that is registered in Weatherby’s non thoroughbred register
3. The mare’s passport will be inspected before judging commences at both the qualifiers and final. Exhibitors failing to produce a passport will be debarred from competing.

The class is also open to the progeny of Weatherby’s
Thoroughbred Stallions that are not classified in the IHR.
2. The dam’s passport must be shown at qualifying shows and at the final if the foal’s passport is not at hand.
3. One foal from selected shows may qualify for the final provided the judges and the ISA agree the standard is high enough.

1. Entries are confined to foals registered in the I.H.R. with a breed code ISH or ID with the dam documented on the passport and must be sired by a stallion that is classified as Approved, Supplementary Approved or Preliminary approved in the Irish sport Horse studbook or a stallion that is classified as class 1/RID in the Irish Draught Horse Studbook. The class is also open to the progeny of Weatherby’s Thoroughbred Stallions that are not classified in the IHR.
2. Their dams must also be by stallions as above and registered with the I.H.R.
3. All exhibitors must have their dams passport plus stallion owners covering cert (or foals passport) ready for inspection at the qualifying show and final.
4. A maximum of two foals (one colt/one filly) may be selected at any qualifying show provided that the judges and the ISA agree the standard is high enough
5. Foals qualified for the final are not eligible to enter any other class at Mountbellew Show.
6. These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules.

Class 40 Ridden Hunter, Mare or Gelding heavy weight.
The Patricia O’Callaghan and Ita Sheridan Trophy shall be presented to the Best Ridden Hunter from Classes 37, 39 & 40.
