QUALIFIER - THE IRISH SHOWS ASSOCIATION & LEITRIM IRISH DRAUGHT BREEDERS PRESENT THE LEITRIM IRISH DRAUGHT BREEDERS CHAMPIONSHIP
Delivered by Horse Sport Ireland and funded under National Breeding Services by the Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine.
RULES AND CONDITIONS
This competition is open to animals, with the breed code ID, registered in The Irish Draught Horse Studbook (or a harmonised Irish Draught Studbook) with recorded breeding.
One Mare & Foal may qualify at each show.
Exhibitors to both the qualifier & Final must have their Mare's passport available for inspection prior to entry to Judging Ring. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to immediate disqualification.
Passports & Microchips should be read by a Vet at the Final.
One of the judges at the qualifying show must be a qualified Irish Draught Horse Judge.
Animals qualified for final are not eligible to compete in any other class at Mohill Show other than qualifying clases for other ISA finals.
The Qualifying Exhibitor must fill out their own Qualifying Card at each Qualifying Show.
These rules should be read in conjunction with the I.S.A Rules.
Prizes: 1st - €500 & the Central Motors Perpetual Trophy presented by Patsy Walpole - 2nd - €300 - 3rd - €200 4th - €150 - 5th - €100 - 6th - €100 - 7th and upwards will receive €60 on appearance at Final
ENTRY FEE: To Qualifying Show €15 / To Final €30. Final: Mohill Show Sunday Sunday 17th August 2025.

Animals must be progeny of a class 1[ID] or class 2 Irish Draught mare & Stallion that is certified as class 1/class 2/RID [GB], RID [Can]/Grade 2[GB]
